Jewelry Making Workshop @ Linda Sokol Francis Library

  • Linda Sokol Francis Brookfield Library 3541 Park Avenue Brookfield, IL, 60513 United States (map)

Join the BWC at the Maker’s Studio at Linda Sokol Francis Library to learn how to make jewelry!

We will be creating a piece for ourselves (or you can use as a Mother's Day gift) and also 24 pieces to donate to the clients at the Constance Morris House on Mother's Day weekend. Thank you to Jackie Dominguez and Nurse Next Door in LaGrange for donating the funds that were used to purchase light pink mesh bags to hold the pieces of jewelry.

There will be a few jewelry options for us to make and Jessica, the Maker’s Studio librarian, will demonstrate how to use the equipment and how to personalize your piece. The options will include: a necklace, a bracelet, or earrings. You do not need to specify what you would like to make beforehand.

We will meet on Wednesday, April 27th, from 7-8pm in the Lower Level Meeting Room. This event is free and please register no later than Tuesday, April 19th, so we can get a head count. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
